but it was 150 or something before so it's going up. Now they have 3 sku's that are ranked in the 20's at amazon.
I didn't think this had enough insight, I need more than bad timing of the nectar tourtorial.
So far sales are surging in Europe and even in the US the 80GB with Motorstorm is doing better.
You know XBOX 360 is just as sloppy, with 10 different sku's and bundles, and it's not done yet, probably a new Model with HD DVD next year. It's all pretty crazy.
something like $349 with 2 games, anything to get rid of these things and survive the title wave from XBOX 360 this Christmas.
I just wouldn't rule anything out at this point, it's getting bad and we see the 60GB right now costing the same as the 80GB with Motorstorm.
If Sony wins this generation of console wars, they would have rewritten the book on winning ugly.
It looks like they're getting it all wrong. Like in Europe the 60GB is selling but it's only because it's a clearence. The 40GB is being ignored and that's the one to stay.
So there is no sure thing that the sales will last. In United States, the 80GB is now $499 with Motorstorm. And that's actually selling a bit better. The 40GB, who knows. Mixed reactions as it's considered a watered down sku by many.
In the United Stated the price has been a huge issue to peo...
PS3 = $499
360 = $349
I wonder what would happen if the roles were reversed.
PS3 = $199
360 = $349
Transformers?? I'm not afraid.
The console is off the a rough start because the intitial pricing mistake, and development curve.
Obviously Sony underestimated the competition, but the price cuts will help. Blu ray is doing well. I think the console has potential since it's ahead of the market.
Microsoft knows that, that's why it's probably making it's own sku with HD DVD. Could be a little late, I expect Blu ray to have a strong holiday.
epecially the $399 with Spider-man 3, I think it's gonna be even tougher for HD DVD.
But just like the console war isn't over, neither is the format war.
Halo 3 is still to come, whatever happens now is game.
They were gonna wait till Halo 3 did the damage and cooled down a little then fire back with price drops for the holiday.
Could be the start of a comeback trail for PS3 but atleast this time there's no Halo 3 launch looming.
but that's just me opinion.
Sony was gonna wait till Halo 3 did it's damaged and cooled down a little and then they were gonna start firing back with price drops for the holiday.
In hopes of atleast putting up some respectable sales. The $399 Spider-man bundle will also help.
It's about all they can do right now.
Anything postive is good right now. As expected you will see a PS3 sales surge. And Halo 3 won't launch again. Hopefully the sales will get less ugly for PS3.
That's about all you can hope for right now.
It was what I expected. I expected XBOX 360 to totally kill the PS3 since it was Halo 3 Launch period. September 2nd thu October 6th was the time period of todays NDP
PS3 sales are even down. I just prey, it was because so many people were buying XBOX 360's instead.
What sales week is this? I thought Famitsu had PS3 and 360 sales even both with 7-8k
XBOX 360 is gonna loose. 400k over PS3 on Halo launch? It's not enough, when you consider it has no Blu ray and no games after Halo 3.
Halo 3 is out and PS3 is still hanging in there. They have everything ahead of them, High Defintion era is just starting. They have the most fit console with HD playback and no giant grey power outlet hanging out.
It was a bumpy road, but they're still intact. I don't see the PS3 going anywhere.
Sony still holds the last card as their console is still more expensive than XBOX 360. And there's nothing XBOTS can do to stop it!
If your so secure about your console, why do you need to constantly troll.
Last generation, I didn't waste hours and hours picking on the Poor XBOX. I just enjoyed my PS2.
